I loved all the vampire books but i kinda want to find something more HUMAN lol.
Im looking for a book that usually takes place with high school students and somewhat of a serious romance. I am still open to more vampire books lol but i prefer to find something with just humans.
PS- i would also like them to take place in a more modern time.

qt asked: What do the plots have to have? Obviously, there’s romance but it can’t just be about two people falling in love, can it? There has to be something else going on.
I’m writing, or, hopefully I will be starting to, write a romance novel and it’s hard to come up with different plots. But maybe I’m just not thinking about it hard enough.
But anyway, what’s okay/not okay for romance novels?

Answer-er asked: I have a crazy addiction to romance novels, but sometimes I feel let down when the stories are about older women. It seems the only things the women want are a) to get married, and b) to have children, and I just can’t relate. I mean mid to late twenties just seems to work best for me. Also, I really don’t enjoy novels with ostentatious little kids. Let me know what authors you think I might like.
PS I love steamy novels.
