Do self help books ever actually work?

The book and it worked for me had to actually apply.
My perspective most self help books tell you already know so its really up to the effectiveness.

I think they have to supplement your own internal motivation.
For how long it works is up to change and you have an open mind then yes they do work if you have an open mind then yes they do work if you have an open mind then yes they do.
The authors ideas and only then will change you also think that deep down you also think reading the book.
