If you’re terrified of commitment than you obviously don’t deserve anybody. Self-help books are for weaklings. Just do yourself a favor and grow a pair you woman

You’re not ready for a relationship if you’re terrified of committment. Frankly, I don’t even know why they allow some self-help books to get published. A therapist could tell you all you need to know. The author of a self-help book probably isn’t a therapist. Thus, he or she wouldn’t deliver anything worth helping you. Give it time. You might be ready, and then you may never be ready. Don’t force yourself to commit to a relationship. It’s obvious you’re not ready.

The road less travelled also maybe read men are written either of them and as know both helped me understand lot about reluctance to commit in.
