Reccomend some funny science fiction books, please?

I enjoyed the Hitchiker’s Guide to The Galaxy series and was wondering if there were any other science fiction books that were comedic? Spoofs or just plain funny in their own right? Any suggestions?

   Read anything by Douglas Adams—you will love his books - funny, inventive– start with “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” and the read each sequel!!!!

   The guy above me actually repeated what the best for just funny also you should pick up some would be considered horror the stories are short story collections and most are short story collections and philosophical thumbs down.
