I have no idea why people buy them. I think they’re horrible. I want to read a book that has a story worth telling, something that requires an author to have a brain. Michael Crichton is an excellent example.
My opinion though.
loves it! i love those books and along with ***** lits. they’re bloody good like confessions of a shopaholic
i’m quite a fan of them. i think that people also enjoy them because its what many people want to find. like, its realistic fiction at its best. what happens in those novels, such as with jane austen, cause i am a big fan of hers, these things can actually happen, its just rare to find. =) i think thats why people are so intrigued with them, it opens their minds to reality and what can happen while making it seem like a fantasy. ♥
The more serious stuff in my mind break think of them are fluff harlequins etc cant read the more serious stuff in my book.
