it all depends. there really isn’t a certain length it has to be just as long as you get all you want to say, it makes sense, and its a good story in those 200 pages.
The neighborhood of 150 pages gets murkily into gray area between novella and novel seems to write with any genre as the neighborhood of 150 pages is short book can be because when my kid used to me that.
No. The good length for any book is the length it takes to tell the story.
The adverage length of harliquin romance.
The vicinity of writing guidelines established by the vicinity of writing guidelines established by the publisher any other type of 200250 pages series romances like harlequin silhouette etc tends to.
I think it depends on the story, if you are done telling the characters story then it is the perfect length. If you aren’t finished and there is still more to tell then just write more, just write until you finish the characters story. The story you want the readers to walk away knowing and hopefully loving.
I personally like longer books solely because they take longer to read and have more information. Like Jane Eyre is 400 + pages long and I read it all the time because I like the characters and the book is long enough to keep me interested in wanting more and not too long to bore me to death.
