They are all plot driven and in all the novels there is a **** girl involved. Shayne was married in the earlier books but she was murdered which allowed Shayne to pursue a little romance with some lovely ladies. You can usually pick them up for a song at most used book stores. I think the author's real name was Davis Dresser. If you like light PI novels with good plots, you should enjoy these books.
