Lou Lou asked: Lay aside the stereotypes and the skepticism and tell me what you really, honestly think about romance novels. It can be stories by Jane Austen or Nora Roberts. A recent statistic showed that half of what is published today is from the romantic genre. We’re not talking ******* here: just mainstream romance, the love stories–not the *** stories. What is your opinion of this genre and why do you think people are snapping them up left and right?

mre45 asked: So saying that your novels are picked up by a publisher and so you have no trouble getting published–how much of a living can you make from writing romance novels full-time? Thanks!

Spring Rose asked: Hey guys! I love reading books by Judith McNaught, Jude Deveraux, and Nora Roberts, and I would like some similar authors of the same romance genre. Nothing too erotic, but nothing too simple either. I like romance novels with some *** scenes and true love. Thanks guys, I appreciate it

Calindi15 asked: I am looking to read my favorite genre, trashy romance novels, while sitting on the beach, but to add an educational edge I would prefer to read them in Spanish. Are there any NATIVE Spanish speakers that write trashy romance novels, preferably contemporary romances? Spanish authors are preferred to Latin American, but I’ll take anything except a poorly translated American author - I might as well read that in English since most of them are direct translations anyway!
Bonus question: What is your favorite book by a Spanish author? It does not have to be a specific genre - just preferably something fun to read on the beach rather than heavy intellectualism - already have to read that stuff for class!
Thanks!!!
Jesse
