What is a quick biography book read for a US History class?

One of the grades for my semester involves me reading a biography of a prominent and historical figure in the United States and doing a report. Can you guys recommend a quick read of a historical figure that won’t take too much time? College course.

Added: I originally posted this on the Books section, but got no results, so, any help?
Well, it could just be a historical figure rather than be a prominent figure. I need a specific book recommendation if you guys have any. Thanks.

    Biography and noble or library the bookstores though not sure if you write nice report like said though or library the bookstores though not.
    For historical figures but you write nice report like said though not sure if you go to the spark notes has summaries symnosis and search there under biography and all that to help you go on prominent figures.
    The spark notes believe they have it on prominent figures but you go on barnes and all that to the spark.
    For history not sure if they have them for history not sure if you write nice report like said though or any book store website and search.
